Welcome to this learning project dedicated to learn the basics of the Unreal Engine environment and how to use its various tools to develop video games of a basic to intermediate level of complexity.

About the version of Unreal Engine: Although most of the text will try to be valid for all versions of Unreal Engine, the participant should keep in mind that the basic tips are made assuming that you are working with version 4.8.2 of July 2015.

For example, the main activity of a simple email app might provide a screen displaying an email inbox. From here, the main activity could initiate other activities that provide screens for tasks such as composing emails and opening individual emails.
